A.R.C.L.I.G.H.T. (The Arclight Initiative) is a unit of Gnomish specialists and researchers, funded by Gnomeregan and tasked with pursuing its interests both in the homeland of Khaz Modan and overseas.
A.R.C.L.I.G.H.T Initiative has it's own server where we welcome any and all to join and participate in to inquire in joining, for Alliances, events, campaigns or even to have a chat with any of our members as a guest! The link to which can be found below.
Activities and Events:
The A.R.C.L.I.G.H.T 's primary focus would be travelling throughout Azeroth and beyond in search of technological artefacts and relics which may prove to be of great benefit to the Gnomish people and provide support and relief to its allied organisations. therefore many of the campaigns or events may be centred around expeditions.
Each expedition is a continuation of The A.R.C.L.I.G.H.T Initiative's overarching story serving as a campaign that would focus on a certain region of the world or a specific coveted object. While loosely guided by a storyline each expedition will dynamic with less emphasis on railroaded or scripted events and rolling with more so on player interaction and how that will ultimately influence the outcome and direction taken relying on Gnomish ingenuity weird and wonderful solutions that they may produce. Varying on the circumstance it may last from a couple of days to even a few months.
'Betwixt expeditions The A.R.C.L.I.G.H.T Initiative's are primarily situated in the region of Dun Morogh at their Headquarters in New Tinkertown, though it's members are free to transverse back and forth between other locations in the downtime.
Each week a meeting will be conducted in the downtime between expeditions in addition to recruitment drives to enlist a few more members before resuming activities. Furthermore, a wide variety of smaller unique events will be conducted throughout the region of Khaz Modan in between to keep things interesting and constantly active in the downtime!
Superintendent: Superintendent Dionysius Cogsworth is entrusted with the responsibility of administrating and coordination of the activities within The A.R.C.L.I.G.H.T Initiative. Communicating with Gnomeregan informing them of the Initiative's progress.
Executive: The First Tier of Officer which oversee the second and the other various ranks to ensure that all is running smoothly. Meetings will be held to decide the fate on important decisions which influence The A.R.C.L.I.G.H.T Initiative where a vote will be made to further the notion. In cases of emergency where the Executives are not all present one may take measures such as temporary demotion or restriction of another to prevent further harm to the guild reserving removal from the guild as a last resort without the Executive's consent as a last unless absolutely necessary. Doing so otherwise may result in demotion.
Overseer: The second tier of Officer, They are the Leaders of the Champions, Enforcers, Militant and Medic Core. They Lead events, oversee training and see that all operating smoothly with the Champions, Militant, Enforcers, Medic Core and Artisans. They also interview new members and can assign them to the rank of Militant, Enforcer or Medic Core based on their attributes.
Champion: Writing in Progress.
Enforcer: The Enforcer are armoured protectors of the Guild which oversee the protection of the Militant and Medic Core in battle.
Militant: The Militant is the brunt of the guild's force ranging from class cannons to armoured Warriors. The Militant is typically frail and requires an Enforcer to drew the enemies attention off them so they may continue their work undisturbed.
Artisan: The None combatants of The A.R.C.L.I.G.H.T Initiative nonetheless just as vital to the order as any other role is. The Artisan seeks to contribute to The A.R.C.L.I.G.H.T Initiative in their own way by providing an assortment of crafted goods from the resources returned in adventuring.
Unassigned: The rank in which newcomers are automatically assigned upon joining The A.R.C.L.I.G.H.T Initiative. They must first be interviewed by a Overseer or Executive in order to be assigned to their respective ranks based upon their character's attributes.

• No slandering of other guilds and/or individuals. If you must it is strongly encouraged to keep it anonymous and does not mention or allude to any specific names.
• While fine to practice, being caught in the act of Erotic Role-play will result in an instant kick without warning.
• Three firm warnings will be issued out to those that continue to cause or encourage the disruptive behaviour. Failing to adhere to the following warnings will result in demotion or their privileges being revoked for a specified period of time in accordance with the severity of their transgressions.

Do you accept alts?
While there is a strong preference towards main characters Indeed we do provide that Gnomes and can indeed keep the activity quota and actively attend two events a week alongside your other characters present. Naturally less active members may miss out on various plot advancements, which are naturally driven by active characters.
How about uniforms?
There are no definitive requirements for uniforms however we do strongly encourage creating a transmogrification of your own expresses your character's own tastes (in moderation mind you) that would work with the colours of the Gnomeregan Tabard or our own if you prefer the design and promote individuality.
I’m playing a non-gnome race; can I still join?
As of now, recruitment is open to Gnomes and Gnomes, as to preserve the feel of a race-specific guild catered to the gnomish people and revitalise Gnome Role-play in Role-play Heaven of which there is a notable lack of. That doesn’t mean we Don't wish to Role-play with you, however; you are more than welcome to find us out in the world, and maybe even tag along for a few events!
What’s your stance on Undead, leper, Sand and Mechagnomes?
The Initiative has no definitive restriction on any of the aforementioned gnomish sub-races, although it's imperative that you read up on the lore surrounding your character's race and class ensure that that they have a good motivation for wanting to enlist.
There are various items which can be used to provide you with the appearance of a Leper Gnome through the use of Vial of Green Goo and Mechagnome with the Gnomebobulator using the Reflecting Prism to on another or an alternative character on a trial licence through Multiboxxing to prolong the form and keep an immersive appearance is required. if you would like to sign up for a character belonging to either of these sub-races, Please to whisper one of us beforehand to ensure that they would fit in with the guild's overall theme.
