New command: .phase playlist #SoundID #LengthOfASongInSeconds will let you make phase playlists e.g 10 songs that will keep playing on loop from 1-10 and repeat. Every consecutive command use the song is added to the list. Use .phase pl clear to clear the playlist

Looking around the forum I saw how thanks to some custom commands now we can "throw" gobs at a long distance with a spell and how we can potentially attach an NPC to another through scripting. But now I have been wondering if as a private server we may ever be able to make items or GOBS into spells like Blizz does.

What I mean by that is letting players cast spells that allows them to use an item as a visual effect like many retail spells do for NPC, below I have some examples, one of a GOB on a player model's back and one of a item (shield) being just a visual effect and not an equitable.

I didn't post this yet in suggestions mostly because I wanna know if this is even possible to achieve with items and gobs of the player's choice or I am just overestimating the power of modding.

He refers to the command .set missile which allows you to spawn gobjects in a point & click fashion.

He wants to know whether it is possible to create, through a site or game command feature, spells that spawn items visuals attached to the character model; such as a spell that gives you a shield on the back but without you requiring to equip the actual item. Or spells that spawn gobjects, such as the spell that creates a barrel of ale in whatever location you click in whilst casting it.

I mean making more of visual spells like this shield, but with items of our choosing.

Only problem with gobject-spawning spells is that they can be easily abused unless there's a countermeasure against it.

You are right...maybe it can just be done with equipable items such as shields and weapons?
