Unlike other media, the hardship in roleplay is that there's not just one protagonist. Instead there are multitudes. As many as there are players present. Most of the time the interaction between characters goes smoothly because most of us are aware of the standards. But sometimes extremes can occur. An orc wearing armor through which molten lava flows, An elven mage with a magical ability that nobody else has, A draenei with an interest in shemales, etc. The possibilities are endless and I don't think there's really that much difference between something sexual, magical or anything else for that matter. The extreme and the unusual will always be frowned upon. For good reason though, just like people with kinks think their implemented fetish is acceptable, the people that disagree or are disgusted by it will think it's unacceptable. Neither of them are necessarily wrong, it's simply a matter of opinion and perspective. Though eventually it will usually come down upon the Majority Rule. Unless the phase owner is the one with the kinks..
I could tell people to be tolerant and all that. But knowing RPH, a lot of people here get as much a boner from witch hunting the ERP'ers as the ERP'ers get from ERP'ing =P
