* This is not a full representation of how Yalarae Looks, But is the closest to how I would imagine her.
Name: Yalarae Mistsong
Class: Travelling Warrior, Former Sentinel,
Alignment: Lawful Neutral
Yalarae's soft face is framed by a pair of owl-like markings running along her silvery eyes before arcing towards her full lips, the soft facial features making her seem like more of a gentle being than a savage, which also seems to be the case with her behavior. Her ears have several rings in them from the root towards the tip. Her black hair hangs lusciously from her head, flowing down to her shoulders, before letting an elongated amount of the hair cascade along her back and down to her rear, much unlike what stories of the fierce woman would state of her behavior, she seemed to enjoy keeping her hair lush and beautiful to look at.
Her slender neck leads down to a toned torso blessed with a pair of large breasts, hidden by her armor. The rest of her torso is well-sculptured, leading down to a flat stomach and further to her muscular legs. Onto her stomach, chest, and arms were dark tattoos in the same color as her facial markings. The tattoos shaped similar to the owl markings. Yet somehow they were applied later. Gained while serving within the Sentinel Army. Nor did Yalarae lack scars. Her body had gathered a lot over the course of four thousand years. The Night Elf having seen her fair share of combat, and so it was not uncommon to find a scar on her right cheek from a long cut. As well as claw markings on her legs and arms, cuts, bruises, and even a burn scar on her right wrist.
An extension of her owl markings have been tattood onto her arms, chest, and stomach. They were applied quite some years after her facial markings, and in fact, come from her time as a Sentinel. Even Girl soldiers do bad things from time to time. The tattoos show owl faces on her wrists, and neat lines running upwards in a crossing fashion to her shoulders, down over her chest and onto her stomach. Where they met in a symbol that almost was a clean crescent moon.
Ontop of Yalarae's shoulder, or flying around her proximity, usually sits/flies a green summer bird which is called "Nor". The bird is smart and loyal, having embraced Yalarae as its caretaker, or even mother. Often found singing a lovely tune, he is without doubt one of Yalarae's closest companions, aside from her sister. One who understands the Darnassian tongue, would recognize the name to be in said language, it meaning "sky".
Out of the Mistsong siblings without doubt Yalarae is the more calm and reserved. Her mostly neutral stance, and thoughtful behavior shows a side not many Kaldorei reveal. But of course such side is only reserved for those close to her. And the Kaldorei is less friendly and open to strangers. Having served within the Sentinel Army, Yalarae has gained the discipline of a soldier. But her somewhat 'childish' nature overwhelms such at times. She is soft hearted, and prefers peace over war. However by her muscular and proudful stance it is clear that she won't back down from a fight either. Whenever confronted about something personal or something embaressing however, the elf will most likely end up nuzzling her face into her scarf and hide from everyone. A young adult she is, with much still to explore on every front in life.
A smooth cloth bag, with leather reinforcements and metal clasps. Fit with a long, and strong, leather strap to carry it on your body. It usually rests against Yalarae's right hip. The decorations on the bag represent those of one following the ancient druidic ways. With leaf patterns, bear paw marks, and flowers. Reliable, spacious, and pretty is what would be used to describe this handy bag with few words.
A tall longsword, carried on Yalarae's back, below her guitar. Only the handle and cross-guard poke out. The handle wrapped in red cloth with a dark purple knob as pommel. The cross-guard old-fashioned, but doing its job. Within was a slender, long blade. The fuller engraved with Darnassian runes and the edges of the blade as sharp as possible. The blade once belonged to Yalarae's mother, who carried it during the War of the Ancients. Demons and Highborne alike have fallen before this sword. And it is said the blade's red sheen is caused by all the demonic and highborne blood that it spilled. A fairy tail, some say. But the truth stands it is the red sheen that grants the sword its unique name: Sin'serrar, the Bloodblade.
A stylish haircomb tucked away within Yalarae's messenger bag. Obviously used to brush her hair back into shape after a fight, or waking up from sleep. The handle is of hardwood and framed by silver metal trims which reinforce the brush itself from breaking easily. It is however not as pristine as it used to be. Through the many years of faithful service, the wooden handle has gained a crack, the shining silver metal has become dull, and the wood in general has lost its original beautiful, cherry color. Replaced by a worn, browned appearance with slight tinges of cherry hues.
A wooden, elven, guitar, decorated with druidic leafs and silver ornate patterns. The guitar is held onto Yalarae's back through a leather strap which is dyed in a dark shade of purple. It is not carried always with her, but most of the times it will be found on her back, or on her lap while she plays it. It is said she is quite good too!
A Dance With Magic
An exceptionally well-written book about a war between two Highborne noble houses and their rights to the throne of the Kaldorei Empire. An epic fantasy novel with more than enough drama, action, and beheading. A Suramar best seller. The book has a hard leather cover. The title is written in large, golden, letters in the front and side. The front of the cover depicting an ornate silver coin with two Highborne elves fighting eachother with magic. (A pun on GoT, yes.)
