Download new 8.2.5 client here. Custom gameobject patch has been disabled temporary as we're fixing the way custom patch is streamed to the client. Custom gobs will be back within 24 hours.

@  dr3ad : (01 November 2019 - 10:26 PM)

We updated to 8.2.5 as we had some issues due to Blizzcon today removing 8.2.0 version from their content delivery network and hence half of people getting "Streaming error". We will post new 8.2.5 Wow.exe in couple of minutes, you just need to drag it into your existing RPHTiny/_retail_ folder.

Fixed crashes that were just happening due to crashy spell. Server up in 2 mins.

So finished downloading the RPHTiny client this morning some point. Took a while so I left it on while I slept.

Woke up to a black window on my main screen (running multi-monitors) and a unresponsive wow client.

Since I've tried running it as admin, deactivating my other screens, moving the folder to another harddrive, but nothing seems to clear up the issue.

Whenever I launch the game, no matter which of the two .exe files I use, It loads for abit, the wow cursor emerges, before going away, and my screen freezes. I can tab out of it, click new windows, and either as I do, or when I click back in, it opens a pitch black window, further attempts at interaction reveal the client has completely stopped answearing.

Checking my task manager reveals there's absolutely no life in it, draining niether bandwith or cpu power.

Real wierd issue this one, would greatly appreciate some help.

I used to play on RPH some time back, so feels odd that the issue's hitting me now.

Resolution

It appears the issue was somewhere in the RPHTiny client. I downloaded RPHFull and am now looking at the login screen. So far so good.
