A friend is still hung on a shit 32bit OS so I tried to find a workaround, thought id make a guide for those with the same issue.
You can use your previous RPH directory or a new one (I'd choose to go new to avoid any bugs).

For Mac Users, here's the patched 7.3.5 Binaries.

  • Download the RPHTiny folder HERE (you will need both 64bit and 32bit).
  • Once you've downloaded it make a new folder call it whatever you want (I've named mine RPHTinyTest).
  • Open up the downloaded .rar file and open the folder, copy it's contents to your newly made folder (e.g. RPHTinyTest).

It should look like this:

Spoiler

  • Right click your WoW.exe file and send to desktop to make a SHORTCUT.
Spoiler

  • Go to your desktop, right click your shortcut and open up PROPERTIES.
  • Go to Target: and type in -noautolaunch64bit (dont forget the space after ")
  • Press APPLY, then OK and then Run as Administrator.
  • It can take up to 15 minutes for the .exe to load, just be patient.
  • Eventually the launcher should load up, if it comes up with a dialogue box you've done something wrong.
Spoiler

ENJOY!

Why make this long guide instead of just learning them to install 64 bit?

It's free for all who own 32 bit licenses of windows and you get to keep all your files.

Blizzard even dropped 32-bit support in BfA, so it's only about time you gotta update anyways.

Because his PC is fucking garbage.

He gets to play 7.3.5 in the meantime til he manages to spec up a new system for BFA.

I did this for a friend, and its a good substitute for others til BFA forces their hand. I dont see the issue.

Lad his PC being shit is no excuse, windows XP 64 bit was released in 2005 and even phones have 64 bit nowdays.

Just teach him to update the OS to 64 bit instead, it's not about his hardware.

Instead of writing this guide, you should have just sent him this:

Do you know what hardware he has? No. Its very much the cause of concern.

Are you really sure about that? Because I don't believe you.

You can use this ancient program to check it, just download and run it:

https://www.grc.com/securable.htm

A very easy way to check if computer supports 64 bit.

You are talking like 64 bit is something new, 64 bit was introduced in 2000.

Your friend has had over a decade to update to 64 bit.

windows xp is now the bar for being retarded

It truly is, It's very outdated and plagued by viruses.

Only a complete fool would still run windows XP.
